Overview

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy (YCELP) jointly organize the Moran Environmental Fellowship. The Fellowship supports a paid summer internship with the NRDC and is open to students at Yale School of the Environmental. This fellowship funds summer work across NRDC.

IMPORTANT: Students are expected to reach out to NRDC staff directly to seek out and apply for positions and apply for this Fellowship when a position is secured. We advise you, if you are interested in working with NRDC for your Summer Experience, to begin outreach in October/November and begin exploring opportunities that may be posted with NRDC that will fit your interests. You will want to apply and interview as early in the cycle as possible so you have an offer in early spring, at which point you will want to complete and submit the Moran Fellowship application as early during the spring semester as possible. If you have questions about this process, please reach out to Maya Sanyal (maya.sanyal@yale.edu).
