John F. Enders Fellowships and Research Grants

The Graduate School offers a number of competitively awarded John F. Enders Fellowships and Research Grants to qualified students in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences in all fields of study who will be engaged in full-time dissertation research in the United States during the summer months. Grants may be used to support the acquisition of equipment (please see limits below), documents, data, or other research materials for the completion of the dissertation research, as well as research travel and living expenses incurred during the tenure of the fellowship. This fellowship is intended to fund summer research projects. It may not be used as a dissertation writing grant.
Students enrolled in years 1 through 6 of a Ph.D. program who are currently working with a dissertation adviser on dissertation research are eligible. The funding is to support full-time dissertation research in the United States only. Preference is given to applicants needing to travel to complete field research.
