Howard Topol Travel Fellowships
Yale University
This is an unrestricted fund that can be used to support travel fellowships for students residing in Silliman College. While this grant does not support mere travel, awards of up to $1,000 may be offered to offset the cost of travel to distant sites for independent research, creative projects, organized programs, or formal study.
Application Information:
- Project information: title and one-page detailed proposal. Make sure to indicate other funding sources for this project in the application, if applicable.
- One letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
Faculty Reference: Please ask your faculty advisor or other relevant faculty member to provide a brief letter of reference attesting to your capacity to complete the proposed project and its relevance (if applicable) to work in your major.
Please attach a one-page proposal detailing your research project and submit to the Head of College Office.
Supplemental Material: Students must sign the Assumption of Risk and Waiver Form for any international travel. Visit www.world.yale.edu/travel for complete travel policy. Recipients must submit a summary report explaining the use of their fellowship to the Silliman Head of College's Office.
Please note we typically receive a high volume of applications and cannot guarantee to cover the entirety of your budget. We suggest you pair your Silliman College grant applications with other University grants designed to support your specific work.
