LAVERN & NOLA MCENTIRE NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship has been established by LaVern McEntire of Macomb, IL. Nola received a BS in Home Economics Education from WIU in 1950 and MS in Education from WIU in 1957. She worked at WIU as a food service administrator for several years. Nola was from Cameron, IL, while her husband, LaVern, is from Industry , IL.

CRITERIA:

• Undergraduate
• Nursing major
• Minimum half-time enrollment (6+ credit hours)
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• First preference to veterans
• Second preference to students who will reach junior class standing (60+ credit hours earned) prior to disbursement
