Overview
The Goldstein Family Foundation would like to provide financial support for WIU-QC students who have secured an unpaid internship which contributes to workforce development in our community.
Eligibility
CRITERIA:
- Enrolled at Western Illinois University – Quad Cities for a minimum 3 hour unpaid internship course within their respective department, which has been approved by the departmental internship coordinator and has a qualified on-site supervisor. (Exceptions to the for–credit requirement can be made if degree plan conflicts make this not possible.)
- Good academic standing with the university
- Students are expected to complete all necessary college coursework associated with the internship and submit a final reflective report to the Goldstein Family Foundation
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Internships must be completed in the Quad Cities area at a recognized business in good standing
- Host organization cannot be owned or run by a member of intern’s immediate family
- Internship must be done at one site and must be supervised by someone at the site
- Supervisor may not be a family member
