BERTHA GREISHABER FINK NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established by Bertha & Rodney Fink. Bertha earned her Master’s at WIU and served as a Health Sciences instructor; Rodney was Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

CRITERIA:

• Admitted to the School of Nursing program.
• Undergraduate or graduate student
• From a rural area in Illinois, Iowa, or Missouri.
• Financial need.
• Preference given to undergraduate students with financial need and desire to work in public health or community health in rural areas of Illinois and to students enrolled in the RN- Bachelor of Science in Nursing completion program.
• Graduate students should be admitted to graduate study in public health nursing or community health nursing in either the clinical specialist program or nurse practitioner program at WIU.
