Malthus Classics Scholarship

Description:

This scholarship was established to encourage students to continue their studies in Classics.

Who is eligible?

The scholarship is open to full-time students majoring in Classical Studies, and/or Latin, and/or Greek, who intend to enrol in their second or third year of an undergraduate degree, or in the first year of an Honours degree, in Classics, Latin, or Greek, at Victoria University of Wellington.

Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic merit and their passion for the subject. Financial hardship will be taken into secondary consideration when choosing a recipient. Applicants may be domestic or international students.

Selection criteria:

• Applicants must be current full-time students at Victoria University of Wellington.
• Applicants must be majoring in Classical Studies, Latin, or Greek.
• Applicants must be intending to enrol in their second or third year of undergraduate study, or studying towards an Honours degree in one of the above subjects.
