Laerdal New Zealand Nursing & Midwifery Scholarship

History and purpose:

This scholarship has been established by Laerdal New Zealand to encourage students studying to become nurses or midwives at the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Practice at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.

This scholarship is for students undertaking the Bachelor of Midwifery programme or the Master of Nursing Practice programme at the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Practice at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.

Applicants must be intending to enrol or be enrolled in the Bachelor of Midwifery programme or the Master of Nursing Practice programme at the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Practice at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.

Selection Criteria:

• Applicants must be intending to enrol or be enrolled in the Bachelor of Midwifery programme or the Master of Nursing Practice programme at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington in the year following this application.
• The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and commitment to becoming a registered nurse or midwife.
• Preference will be given to applicants experiencing financial hardship.
