Margaret E. Smith-Esther Butt History Scholarship
UNIVERSITY of WISCONSIN–MADISON
The Department of History awards one $1,500 Margaret E. Smith-Esther Butt History Scholarship annually. This award is designed for outstanding History majors.
Eligibility Criteria
Recipient must be a declared History major. Students who will graduate in spring 2024, summer 2024, or who have already graduated are not eligible to receive this scholarship. The recipient will need to enroll at UW-Madison during the 2024-2025 academic year in order to receive this scholarship.
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be considered based on the information provided in their application as well as financial need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid).
