Overview

The Department of History is pleased to offer the Goldberg Scholarship in History, which provides a $1,000 grant towards tuition for an undergraduate History major. One Goldberg Scholarship will be awarded annually.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

Recipient must be a declared History major. Students who will graduate in spring 2024, summer 2024, or who have already graduated are not eligible to receive this scholarship. The recipient will need to enroll at UW-Madison during the 2024-2025 academic year in order to receive this scholarship. Both in-state and out-of-state students may apply.

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be considered based on financial need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid).

How to Apply

Students will be considered for the Goldberg Scholarship by completing the Department of History Undergraduate Scholarships Application in WiSH.
