Farha Tahir Award in African History
UNIVERSITY of WISCONSIN–MADISON
The Department of History is proud to offer the Farha Tahir Award in African History. The Farha Tahir Award in African History will support an outstanding undergraduate student studying African History. The $1,000 award may be used at the department’s discretion as a writing award, travel award or research award.
Students applying for the Farha Tahir Award as a research award or writing prize should submit this application by the deadline of Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Students studying abroad or completing a summer internship abroad may be eligible to receive the Farha Tahir Award as a travel award if they complete the Global Perspectives Scholarship in WiSH by the deadline of Monday, March 4, 2024.

All of the questions in the RESEARCH AWARD section are required if you are applying for this award as a research award, in order for your application to be considered complete and eligible for review.
