Overview

This scheme is funded by Highland Council and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. Students wishing to apply are required to be resident and attending either Sabhal Mor Ostaig or UHI Outer Hebrides within these council areas.. Prioirty is given to those students in their first year of study who hope to gain a CertHE, DipHE, or BA. Applications are made locally at Sabhal Mor Ostaig or UHI Outer Hebrides.

Students studying through the medium of Gaelic at Sabhal Mor Ostaig or UHI Outer Hebrides This scheme is funded by Highland Council and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. Students wishing to apply are required to be resident and attending either Sabhal Mor Ostaig or UHI Outer Hebrides within these council areas.

The scheme is aimed at students wishing to learn, or study through the medium of Gaelic, with priority given to students in their first year of study who hope to gain a CertHE, DipHE or BA.

Application forms are available at the start of the academic year at both Sabhal Mòr Ostaig UHI and UHI Outer Hebrides. Please contact your local student support team for further information on this bursary or help in completing the form.
