Overview

British Council Scholarship for MSc TESOL (Online) is for Indian students to study on a part-time, distance-learning basis over 30 months.

British Council Scholarship for English Language Teachers India aims to identify and support a select group of high-performing English language teachers and/or teacher educators to further their skills and knowledge in the field of TESOL with an emphasis on the use of technology.

In addition to the course with the University of Stirling, there will be a wraparound programme of alumni activity (facilitated by the British Council) to increase the chances of longer-term engagement and wider impact.

Students will study part-time following a distance learning model over 30 months (24 months of teaching and 6 months of dissertation). They will also benefit from 2 weeks in the UK with a programme of social and academic activity.

The scholarship will cover:

  • Full tuition fees for the MSc TESOL (Online) and Computer Assisted Language Learning program

  • Any associated necessary visa costs for the two-week study trip.
