How we award scholarships This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful.

There are 5 stages to the shortlisting process.

  • We check that you meet the eligibility criteria.
  • We score and rank the answers you give on your application form.
  • We shortlist applicants across all departments to recognise academic excellence in all areas.
  • We score your academic qualifications stated on your UCAS or PGT application form.
  • A scholarship panel, chaired by the Vice President International, will assess your total score.

We may also shortlist applicants from Least Developed Countries, Low Income or Lower Middle Income countries.

The 10 applicants with the highest score will get 100% tuition fee waivers.

The next 15 applicants with the highest score will get £10,000 off their tuition fees.

The decision of the scholarship panel is final.
