Overview

The Badge SA Scholarship is available to a student who is enrolled full-time in the second year of the Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Honours) (IHCN) degree.

Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents and submit a personal written statement (min 500 words) detailing their career objectives and how the scholarship will assist them, a copy of their current CV and their unofficial academic transcript.

The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic merit (GPA)‚ a personal written statement‚ character references and performance at an interview. The recipient may be offered the opportunity to undertake paid placements during their program and paid casual work experience during the university holidays.

The scholarship may not be held in conjunction with another scholarship in the Academic Unit and the successful applicant should not be currently undertaking any active employment or work experience with any competitor companies during the scholarship term. Continuance of the scholarship is subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Upon graduation, Badge SA may offer the recipient a graduate position with professional development, mentoring and vocational guidance.

How to apply: online via myScholarships in the student portal. As part of the application process‚ students must also supply an unofficial academic transcript that shows previous grades and GPA‚ a current CV and a letter of application.

Value: $10,000. The scholarship is payable in three installments. $2,000 in second year, $3,000 in third year and $5,000 in the fourth year. The annual payment will be made after the Study Period 2 census date subject to satisfactory academic performance.
