Established from funds donated through a bequest from Margaret J. Messer, the scholarship provides a graduate student in the Faculty of Education - educational Curriculum and Instruction program (EC&I) the opportunity to further their studies in the field of Arts Education.

Eligibility

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:

  • enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in Education;
  • Field of study related to Arts Education;
  • Preference given to a full-time student registered in the semester the award is presented;
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80%;
  • Demonstrated outstanding performance in field experience; and
  • Written recommendation from the Arts Education program area.

Note: This award may be divided equally if there is more than one eligible recipient, to a maximum of three recipients.

Application Information

No application required. Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Programs, Faculty of Education in conjunction with the Arts Education program area will recommend a recipient to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
