Overview

The History Graduate Award was established to provide funding support for, and to recognize prior academic excellence by, graduate students enrolled in the Master of Arts in History program at the University of Regina.

Eligibility

Eligibility

Multiple awards available up to a maximum of $5,000 per recipient, subject to available funding, paid out in four equal payments in the first semester of study.

The award will be presented to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:

  • is accepted as a fully-qualified graduate student;
  • is registered in the Master of Arts in History program;
  • is registered in full-time or part-time;
  • has attained a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 75% in the previous two years of study; and
  • remains in good standing with a minimum GPA of 75% in the semester the award is presented.

Note: preference will be given to full-time students.

Application Information

No application required. The Department of History Scholarship Committee will select the recipient and notify the Manage of Graduate Scholarships and Awards at the start of the semester.
