Gord Steinke Global News Undergraduate and Graduate Award

Global News has a strong relationship with the School of Journalism and in forging a stronger relationship, have created the Gord Steinke Global News Undergraduate and Graduate Award to recognize and reward the academic achievement of students registered in the School of Journalism, Faculty of Arts at the University of Regina.

Eligibility

The award will be presented to an University of Regina student who meets the following criteria:

• Remains registered in the Master of Journalism program; and
• Received the highest grade for a radio current affairs news story in JRN 802 in the previous semester.

Note: If a tie exists between eligible applicants, the award will be presented to the student with the highest cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
