Geography and Environmental Studies Scholarship for Excellence Award

The Geography and Environmental Studies Scholarship for Excellence Award was established by the Department of Geography to reward, recognize and encourage outstanding students with a specialization in Geography or Environmental Studies.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be presented to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:

• A fully-qualified student in a thesis or project-based graduate program in Geography;
• Completed a minimum of 12 credit hours in a graduate program;
• Attained the highest Graduate Grade Point Average (GGPA) at the time the scholarship is awarded;
• Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 6 graduate credit hours in the semester the scholarship is awarded; and
• Nominated by the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies Scholarship Committee
