Overview
Proposals are invited from candidates from all subject areas including interdisciplinary and comparative studies who (a) engage in research culminating in a thesis or other such document, (b) include direct northern field research or experience as part of their studies, and (c) whose programs are relevant to northern challenges or issues.
Eligibility
Eligibility
- must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- be enrolled full-time in college or university at the time of application and over the tenure of the award;
- not concurrently hold two Association of Canadian Universities for Northren Studies (ACUNS) awards, but you may hold other - awards and financial support while holding a ACUNS award;
- include a northren fieldwork compoenent in your research that is conducted between May (in the year you receive the award) and the following March or May (depending on specific award). conduct your research project in the North as defined here.

- You will require two Refree reports.
- ACUNS will accept digital copies of official transcripts sent to awards@acuns.ca. All post-secondary transcripts must be submitted and only official transcripts will be accepted.
