Overview

The Foyer/Supported Housing Bursary is for students who come directly from living in a Foyer or other supported housing, where they have lived between the ages of 16 to 18. Each year the Foyer Federation inform the University of students’ who intend to enrol directly from living in a Foyer.

Bursary Amount

The Lincoln Foyer/Supported Housing Bursary is a set amount of £1000 paid to eligible students in three equal termly instalments. The Foyer Federation inform the University of students who intend to enrol directly from living in a Foyer.

Eligibility

Eligibity

  • Students must be enrolled on the Student Information System on a full-time or part-time University of Lincoln undergraduate programme for the current academic year.

  • Students must have a student status of 'Home' on the Student Information System.

  • Students must have enrolled directly from living in a Foyer.

  • Students must not have previously received the Lincoln Foyer/Supported Housing Bursary for the same level of study.

How to Apply

There is a short application form which students are required to complete. Evidence will be needed to demonstrate when they lived in supported housing and any benefits received. Please note that you cannot be awarded both the Blackburn Bursary and Foyer/Supported Housing Bursary.
