Donna & Vincent Lero Child and Family Services Scholarship

Established by Donna and Vincent Lero upon her retirement after 42 years as a faculty member in the department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition. Apply by May 15 to the Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition Undergraduate Awards Committee at bascprog@uoguelph.ca, including: the Department Application Form; a letter of application outlining the impact made in support of children and families, including interest in pursuing a career in child and family services; and one letter of reference supporting the impact. Selection will be based on the most significant impact made in support of children and families through volunteer activities with agencies or services that support children and families. Students may only hold this award once.

Students registered in any major or minor offered by the Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition who have an interest in pursuing a career in child and family services, have completed a minimum of 12.5 credits and who have volunteered with agencies or services that support children and families.
