Overview

This scholarship was established by Byron Sheldrick, former chair of the Department of Political Science, to recognize the department’s contribution to the study of Law and Politics. The student with the highest grade in any one of: POLS 3130; POLS 3140; or POLS 3300 will be selected. In the event of a tie, the student with the highest cumulative program average will be selected. Application is not required.

Eligibility

Students registered in the Criminal Justice & Public Policy (CJPP) major, Justice and Legal Studies (JLS) major or the Political Science (POLS) major who have completed at least one of: POLS3130; POLS3140; or POLS*3300 in the previous academic year (F/W/S sequence).
