Beef Farmers of Ontario DVM Entrance Scholarship

Established in 2021 by the Beef Farmers of Ontario to recognize and encourage students interested in beef cattle. Apply as part of the OVC Awards competition in the fall semester, with a letter from the student detailing the extent of their volunteer and/or work experience, related to beef cattle. Selection will be based on greatest extent of volunteer and/or work experience related to beef cattle as evidenced by types of volunteer and/or work experience. In the event of equally qualified candidates, the student with the highest admission average will be selected. The student's academic standing must be "eligible to continue".

Students entering Phase 1 of the DVM program with work and/or volunteer experience with beef cattle and who have selected food animal practice as their career goal in the DVM entrance survey.
