Delphis Eco Sustainability Leaders Scholarship for reading Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership

About Delphis Eco seeks to support outstanding future sustainability leaders to pursue an MSt in Sustainability Leadership degree in order to empower them to take leadership to tackle critical global challenges.
The CISL Sustainability Leadership Access Bursary is available to applicants to the 2-year continuous route of the MSt Sustainability Leadership.
To be to be eligible to be confirmed for this bursary, candidates will need to have been accepted to the Master’s through the standard admissions process administered by the Institute of Continuing Education, and submitted a separate bursary application form.
The closing date for application is 31 January 2024.
The recipient of the award will be required to submit a short report and/or testimonial on their course experience outlining the impact of the Scholarship on their Cambridge experience for use by CISL and Delphis Eco in print and/or online. The recipient will also be expected to consider using Delphis Eco as a case study for their assignments and/or dissertation, and deliver a talk or webinar on a sustainability-related topic for CISL and/or Delphis Eco within two years of successfully completing the course.
This scholarship is available to candidates who have applied for admission to the Master’s via the standard application process by 31 January 2024, receive an offer of admission following the competitive selection process, and fulfilled any admission conditions set by the University of Cambridge.
Once the standard application has been submitted, to apply for this scholarship a separate scholarship application must be submitted comprising:
- An application letter explaining the following (in less than 1,000 words):
- How they aspire to be a future change agent for sustainability and how you will implement your experiences on the programme in your professional / personal life.
- (This may include relevant elements of the Personal Statement submitted with the course application.)
- Why additional financial support is needed and confirming that corporate funding has not been secured.
- Willingness to support the activities of Delphis Eco (see below).
- A short CV.
- A brief description of the organisation that may be used for the first-year assignments and the proposed sustainability challenge to be investigated. (Applicants verbally invited for a CISL admission interview will be asked to report on this.)
- A copy of the dissertation proposal submitted with the application.
The application letter and other supporting documents forms must be emailed to Mr Gavin Johnson at gavin@delphiseco.com. The deadline is 31 January 2023.
Please note that the Scholarship process is separate from the Programme Admission process. The Scholarship is managed by Delphis Eco, and the admissions is managed by the University of Cambridge. Scholarship application will not have any influence on the admission decisions. Only scholarship applications from candidates who may potentially receive offers of admission will be processed fully. Shortlisted scholarship applicants may be invited for an additional interview, in person or by videoconference (e.g. Skype or Zoom). Further information and/or supporting evidence of any supporting factors raised in the application may be requested.
Delphis Eco will manage the application and allocation process, select the award recipient, and notify the applicant after confirming admission with CISL. There will be no obligation to award a scholarship if no eligible candidate is selected.
Candidates who receive admission offers, but do not receive written confirmation of the Scholarship award, are still eligible to join the course, but, as is the case for all other applicants, would need to provide confirmation of adequate financial support from other sources to cover the full fees and costs.
