Overview

Description:

The Scholarship was established in 2015 and is funded by Watercare Services Ltd in memory of Mark Ford and his outstanding service to Watercare and the water industry, as Chief Executive of Watercare. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support a student of Māori descent undertaking study in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering at the University of Auckland.

Application status: Not currently open for applications

Applicable study: Part III or IV of BE(Hons) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Tenure: One year

Selection process<.

  • Application is made to the Scholarships Office
  • A Selection Committee assesses the applications
  • Short-listed applicants may be required to attend an interview
  • The Scholarship is awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee
