The Hiway Stabilizers Scholarship in Pavement Engineering was established in 2003 to assist third and fourth year undergraduate students interested in pavement engineering and enrolled in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Hiway Stabilizers Limited has operated in New Zealand since 1982 and is one of the country’s most significant and capable road stabilisation companies. Hiway Stabilizers are recognised as stabilisation experts in the areas of road construction, road maintenance, pavement rehabilitation and soil modification as well as ground improvement techniques.

- Application is made to the Scholarships Office . A Selection Committee assesses the applications Short-listed candidates may be required to attend an interview . The Scholarship is awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee
