The Scholarship was established in 2022 and is funded by the Faculty of Education and Social Work. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage Māori students, Pacific Island students, or students from a refugee background entering the Online or In person Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) programme.

- Application is made to the Scholarships Office
