Description:
The Scholarship was established in 2012 and is funded by Chapman Tripp, a New Zealand commercial law practice whose Te Waka Ture group is well known for expertise in Iwi Governance issues. The purpose of the Scholarship is to support a student who is currently enrolled in Part II or above of an LLB or LLB conjoint degree, and who has a particular interest in iwi management and governance

Eligibility
Selection process:
- Application is made to the Scholarships Office
- A Selection Committee assesses the applications
- Short-listed candidates may be required to attend an interview
- The Scholarship is awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee
