Overview
Description:
The Scholarship was established in 2007 and is funded by the Cecil Segedin Endowment Fund. This is a memorial Scholarship in remembrance of Professor Cecil Segedin who began teaching Engineering Mathematics at Ardmore in the 1950s and went on to establish the Department of Engineering Science in 1963. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students undertaking the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), majoring in Engineering Science.
Eligibility
Selection process:
- Application is made to the Scholarships Office
- A Selection Committee assesses the applications
- Short-listed candidates may be required to attend an interview
- The Scholarship is awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee
