The AECOM Women in Engineering Scholarship was established in 2021 and is funded by AECOM New Zealand Limited, an international engineering consultancy and design firm. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support women students enrolled in the penultimate year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree at the University of Auckland, specialising in Civil Engineering.

Selection process:

• Application is made to the Scholarships Office
• A Selection Committee assess the applications
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview
• The Scholarship is awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee
