GREAT Scholarship for Justice and Law

The UCL- GREAT Scholarship for Justice and Law 2023 is jointly funded by the British Council and UCL. The aim is to provide financial support to citizens of the countries as detailed below

• Value: £10,000 (one year only)
• Available to: Prospective students
• Selection criteria: Academic excellence and financial need
• Eligible fee status: Overseas (Indonesia, Ghana, Kenya, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand)
• Eligible programmes: Postgraduate taught

Eligibility Candidates must be citizens of Indonesia, Ghana, Kenya, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Thailand

Have submitted an application to study a full-time Master's degree in All LLM Law Programmes, including LLM Specialist Law Degrees such as: Competition Law at UCL in 2023/24 and hold an offer by the closing date of 22 May 2023.

Value, benefits, and duration

• There are 2 scholarships available in 2023/24
• The value of the scholarship is £10,000
• The scholarships are for offer holders in the following programmes: All LLM Law Programmes, including LLM Specialist Law Degrees such as: Competition Law
• The scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s tuition fees
• Award recipients are obliged to inform the UCL Student Funding Office immediately of any other funding they are awarded towards their UCL Master’s degree studies, before or subsequent to the UCL – GREAT scholarship. You are not permitted to hold any other scholarships if you are a GREAT scholar.
