Joseph Hickey Honorary Law School Scholarship

This fund provides scholarships to law school for local Union County students seeking law careers

Application Information The application to this scholarship will be accepted via the UCCF online scholarship application portal in the late spring of each year. The scholarships will be awarded and announced in July of each year, and scholarships will be paid to the law school(s) in August of each year.

Application Requirements:

• Completed on-line application
• A cumulative college or law school transcript through the most recent term (an official transcript will be required if scholarship is awarded).
• Financial Information Summary. The summary should include a brief explanation of the applicant’s household income and expenses.

Selection of scholarship recipients will apply to students who have graduated from high school in Union County, Arkansas. Priority will be given to students attending law schools in Arkansas, but students attending law schools in other states may apply. The criteria to be used by the Advisory Committee in selection of scholarship recipients shall include, but not be limited to: financial need and academic performance.
