CTW Ada Jackson Scholarship for Master of Teaching (Primary)

COURSEWORK:
The Centenary Trust for Women at The University of Western Australia ('the University') has provided funds to establish a scholarship in honour of Ada Jackson, to assist and encourage an eligible female student experiencing educational disadvantage, and who demonstrates an interest in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, to undertake a Master of Teaching (Primary) at the University and pursue a career as a primary school teacher to promote science education. Ada Jackson completed both a bachelor's and master's degree in Science in Zoology in the 1920s.
Benefits:
To assist and encourage an eligible female student experiencing educational disadvantage, and who demonstrates an interest in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, to undertake a Master of Teaching (Primary) at the University and pursue a career as a primary school teacher to promote science education.
(a) be a domestic student (b) be a female student (c) be experiencing educational disadvantage (d) have completed an undergraduate degree with a science, technology, engineering or mathematics major; and (e) have applied for a place in the Master of Teaching (Primary) at the University.
