C. and P. Strano Memorial Scholarship in Italian Language

COURSEWORK

Cavaliere Alfredo Strano has bequeathed funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') in honour of his parents who, as migrants to Australia, had a great love for their country of birth and for that of their adopted country. The scholarship is provided to assist and encourage a top Year 12 Western Australian Certificate of Education ('WACE') Italian student to commence and undertake Italian Studies at the University.

To be eligible to be considered for a scholarship, in the year prior to commencing University, a candidate must— (a) have successfully completed Year 12 WACE Italian; and (b) have applied for a place at the University in an undergraduate degree course.

To assist and encourage a top Year 12 Western Australian Certificate of Education (‘WACE’) Italian student to commence and undertake Italian Studies at the University.

Eligible candidates are automatically considered for this award and do not need to submit a formal application.
