The Braemar Charitable Trust Scholarship in Nursing was established in 2021 through the generous donation of the Braemar Charitable Trust. In particular, the Trust strives to help those who face challenges accessing health services and, as a result, suffer poorer health and health outcomes. The Trust has five key pillars to achieve this goal, including ownership of Braemar Hospital; investing in medical research; developing medical knowledge; investing in partnerships to improve health outcomes and providing free or subsidised medical care at Braemar Hospital for eligible patients. One $10,000 Scholarship will be awarded each year (2022-2023) to a student in their second year of the Bachelor of Nursing who meets the Purpose and Eligibility criteria.
