Samar El-Okdi Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship awarded students who have overcome financial, emotional, or cultural barriers in their lives. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be active in community service, and open-minded in the areas of race, religion, gender and politics. Preference given to junior or senior level students, and students studying psychology with an interest in anthropology or women's studies.

All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
