Leonard and Bess (Joseph) Burkett Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students from middle-income families who have good moral character and an above average record in high school. Students must be consistently above average academically and be making satisfactory progress toward an undergraduate or graduate degree at UToledo. Must reside in Fulton, Henry, Lucas, or Wood counties. Scholarship requires current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid.

All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
