Kenneth J. Rahman Jr. Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to third or fourth year students who are pursuing a degree in either the Computer Science Engineering Program or the Computer Science Engineering Technology Program. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have graduated from a high school in Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan. Scholarship requires a letter of recommendation from a professor, employer or advisor attesting to the character of the applicant and why they deserve this scholarship and an essay from the applicant focusing on some obstacle/adversity they have had to overcome, the impact it had on them, and how they plan to use the obstacle/adversity to accomplish their goals.

All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
