Jose Fleites Student Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to a fourth-year medical student who best exemplifies the qualities of Jose's friendship toward classmates and professors, as well as interest, warmth, and compassion toward patients. Applicant must complete a summary highlighting academic merit, future aspirations, how the applicant exemplifies Jose's friendship and compassion, and why the applicant believes he or she should receive this scholarship.

All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
