Overview

Scholarship awarded to students in the College of Engineering. First preference given to employees of a plastics-related company (in the plastics industry, such as resin supplier, converter, plastics-processing machine manufacturer, consultant to plastics industry, etc.) who are pursuing a degree to advance their career within the company. Second preference given to studentswho are pursuing a degree in either mechanical, industrial and manufacturing engineering; electrical engineering and computer science; or chemical and environmental engineering or engineering technology. Preference given to students with financial need as determined by a current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Eligibility

All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
