Barney Quilter Good Government Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to junior and senior level students in good standing who graduated from an Ohio public or private high school in the metropolitan Toledo area. Applicants shall major in political science with an interest in pursuing a career in government service. Recipients shall be eligible for membership in Pi Sigma Alpha and be involved in student government. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarship requires current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid.

All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
