American Council of the Blind of Ohio Scholarship
The University of Toledo
Scholarship awarded to students who themselves are blind or visually impaired. Strong preference shall be given to students whose home community was in Ohio prior to matriculation. If a program is available, preference will also be given to students majoring in an academic program that will train them to be educators of children who are blind or visually impaired. The recipient must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference given to students with financial need as determined by a current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid.
All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
