Alan and Susan Lapp Honors Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students in the Honors College who are in at least their third year of study or are transferring to UToledo. Recipients must have a minimum 3.3 GPA, demonstrated leadership potential, and meaningful engagement in University or community service. Preference given to students who are doing research in the fields of environmental ecology, environmental science, environmental justice, or publich health. Preference is also given to students that enhance the social, economic, or cultural diversity of the campus community. Scholarship requires current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid.

All admitted or continuing UToledo students are invited to apply for scholarships. Most scholarship applications open in October and close from December to March. Once scholarship committees have selected recipients, all scholarship applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via their UToledo email.
