Hunstead Student Support Scholarship

Background:

This scholarship was established with funds from the Dick Hunstead Fund and aims to support students with a supplementary stipend to a higher degree by research program with the School of Physics in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney undertaking research with the Sydney Institute for Astronomy (SIfA).

Benefits:

The scholarship is valued at $5000 and will be paid as a one-off payment.

You must:

• be currently enrolled in a PhD or master's by research completing research in astronomy with the School of Physics in the Faculty of Science
• hold an honours or master's degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrate an interest in research in astronomy
• demonstrate financial hardship
• have the support of your research supervisor to be considered for this scholarship.
