Frazer Allan Scholarship

Background:
This Scholarship is established in 2022 to recognise the legacy of Professor Frazer Allan, Dean/Head of University of Sydney School of Veterinary Sciences from 2018, who sadly passed away in 2021. Frazer brought the worlds of private practice and veterinary education closer together during a distinguished career in the veterinary profession. He worked in private practice for many years, honing his skills and developing a vast array of hands-on experience as a successful veterinarian. Frazer’s experience in private practice and veterinary education made him an exceptional leader and asset to the University of Sydney School of Veterinary Science.
Through generous donations, this scholarship is intended to support students enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney who are experiencing financial hardship.
Benefits:
This scholarship is valued at $7,500 per annum and is tenable for one year.
You must:
- be domestic or international students
- be currently enrolled full-time in 2nd or 3rd year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney in the year the scholarship is awarded
- be able to demonstrate financial hardship via the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) Equity Scholarship.
