Andrew Tu Scholarship in Pharmacy
The University of Sydney
A scholarship to support pharmacy students
Andrew Tu Scholarship was established to support pharmacy students to pursue honours research into mental health.
Background:
A beloved husband, brother, son and friend, Andrew Tu excelled in community pharmacy where he was cherished by colleagues and customers alike for his fierce intelligence, warm and caring personality, and his infectious smile.
The scholarship, generously funded by family, friends and colleagues, aims to encourage and support pharmacy graduates to make a positive impact within their profession, by raising awareness and reducing stigma around mental health. Importantly, this will support the next generation pharmacists who are at the forefront of primary care for their community, to not only identify those in need of help but be able to seek help for themselves.
