To be eligible, students must submit a statement of no more than one page detailing their farming background.

Selection Criteria

Based on academic achievement and the merits of the submitted statements.

Preferentially awarded to students in the College of Agriculture and Bioresources or the College of Nursing (in alternating years). If in any given year there are no eligible candidates from the applicable college, the award may be made to a student who graduated from a high school in the province of Saskatchewan.
