Candidates must:

• be in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate study towards a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree;and
• have achieved a minimum average of 70% in the last year of University studies or 80% in Grade 12 for first-year students. Candidates must submit to the Award Committee a comprehensive proposal and application for funds. The proposal must include at a minimum:
• An account of leadership shown to date, within and outside the College
• A description of the conference, its dates, location, sponsoring organization, theme and sessions
• A description of the applicant's goals in attending the conference: what they hope to learn, how that knowledge will benefit the student and the College
• A proposal for reporting on the conference to fellow students, faculty and staff
• Full budget for attendance at the conference including registration, accommodation and meals, and travel Selection will be based on demonstrated leadership and the merits of the applications received, as determined by the Award Committee.
