Indspire has provided financial support for study in Fine Arts programs since 1988. The Fine Arts Bursary and Scholarship funding stream consists of three types: Undergraduate and Graduate; Lessons; and Internship.
Undergraduate and Graduate Eligible study includes full time undergraduate and graduate programs that are a minimum of one academic year at an accredited Canadian post secondary institution. Fields of study include: dance, literary arts, media arts, visual arts, music, theatre, stage management and sound engineering.
Lessons The Lessons bursary is open to all students at any level or age who are taking fine arts lessons with a professional or lessons at a non accredited art organization in the eligible fields of study: art, music, vocal, dance or theatre.
Internship Eligible fields of study includes apprenticeships, internships or on-the-job training with a museum, theater, gallery, or cultural or media centre provided that the applicant has completed formal studies in that internship or apprentice field.
